Valentines Day

To you I may be nothing,
But for me you are everything,
Everything that I want to live for,
Everything that I would like to die for,
Everything that I want to work for
Everything that I would fight for
People adviced, that you weren’t my type
That you were too elegant for me
But I paid no heed to them,
Till the sun burns
Till the moon shines,
I want you to be mine,
They warned me to stay away from you
But my heart reacted out of the blue
Now its forever yours,
Its thumping,
Like the waves beating on the shores….
I asked her to accept it,
But she gave me a look,
And asked me to stop this shit….
My heart got shattered,
My story, it got tattered…..
I replied a mild ‘okay’,
But in my mind I thought,
“Here goes another valentines day……..!!”
